1. Eligibility

By using Jobscord, you represent that you meet the minimum age requirements to use Discord (currently 13+ in most regions). If you are banned from Discord, you are automatically prohibited from using this Service.

2. The "Venue" Clause (Payment & Liability)

Jobscord acts solely as a venue (a "bulletin board") to connect users.

  • No Payments Processed: Currently, Jobscord does not process payments or hold funds. All financial transactions are handled privately between the Employer and the Freelancer (e.g., via PayPal, Ko-fi, etc.).
  • No Liability: We are not a party to any agreement between users. We are not responsible for non-payment, chargebacks, or unsatisfactory work. You assume all risks associated with dealing with other users.

3. Content Moderation & Approval

We strive to keep the platform safe, but we cannot guarantee 100% security.

  • Job Approval: We manually review job listings to filter out obvious scams before they go live. However, the approval of a job does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of legitimacy.
  • Profile Edits: User profiles are updated immediately without pre-approval. We rely on community reporting to identify bad actors.
  • Due Diligence: It is your responsibility to verify the identity and reputation of the person you are hiring or working for.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited. Posting such content will result in an immediate ban:

  • Gambling: Bots, servers, or services related to casinos, betting, or wagering real/virtual currency.
  • NSFW Content: Pornography, sexually explicit text, or 18+ services.
  • Invite-for-Invite (J4J): Services selling members or automated joining schemes.
  • Scams: Any attempt to defraud users (e.g., "Free Nitro" generators).

5. Termination and Appeals

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we suspect you are a scammer, spammer, or in violation of these Terms.

Right to Appeal

If you believe you were banned in error, you may open a support ticket in our Discord server to appeal the decision. We will review the evidence, and if found not guilty, your access will be restored.
